Weldolet

Product Details

Weldolet

We manufacture a wide range of high-strength, corrosion-resistant welding outlets (olet fittings) in materials such as Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and various alloys to ensure reliable, integral branch connections even in high-pressure and high-temperature environments.

Description

A Welding Outlet, or Weldolet, is the most common integrally reinforced branch connection fitting. It is designed to create a 90° butt-weld branch on a run pipe, providing a strong, full-penetration weld connection. The beveled outlet end is matched to the schedule of the branch pipe, ensuring a smooth flow transition and reducing stress concentration. Manufactured through a forging process from carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steels, Weldolets are the standard choice for high-pressure, high-temperature applications in oil & gas, petrochemical, and power generation, offering a reliable, high-strength alternative to a standard reducing tee.

Key Features

01 High-Strength Butt-Weld Joint

Features a 90° butt-weld outlet that allows for a strong, full-penetration weld, making it the most reliable connection for critical, high-pressure systems.

02 Integral Forged Reinforcement

Forged as a single piece to provide full integral reinforcement, replacing the need for a reinforcing pad and ensuring high strength at the branch connection.

03 Optimized Flow Design

The tapered design and beveled outlet provide a smooth flow transition, minimizing turbulence, pressure drop, and stress concentration at the joint.

04 Standards Compliant

Designed and manufactured in full compliance with MSS-SP-97 and ASME B16.9 (for end bevel), ensuring global compatibility and safety.

05 High-Pressure & Temp Service

The preferred choice for demanding, high-pressure and high-temperature services where joint integrity and strength are paramount.

06 Material & Schedule Matching

Available in a full range of materials and schedules to perfectly match the run pipe and branch pipe, ensuring consistent system properties.
