Socket Weld Flange

Product Details

Socket Weld Flanges

We manufacture a wide range of high-strength, corrosion-resistant flanges in materials such as Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and various alloys to ensure leak-proof performance even in high-pressure environments.

Description

A Socket Weld Flange is designed for small-diameter, high-pressure piping systems, featuring a recessed socket for the pipe to be inserted. It is then secured by a fillet weld around the outside, creating a leak-proof and structurally strong connection ideal for applications requiring precision and durability. Manufactured from carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steels, these flanges offer excellent corrosion resistance and are built to withstand high pressure and high temperature conditions. They are commonly used in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, and refinery industries. Available in various pressure classes (Class 150, 300, 600, up to 1500), their compact design and superior vibration and fatigue resistance make them a reliable choice for critical piping systems.

Key Features

01 Leak-Proof Seal

Socket weld flanges offer a tight and reliable seal when used with fillet welds, preventing leakage in high-pressure systems and ensuring secure pipe connections.

02 Compact Design

With their small face-to-face dimensions, socket weld flanges are perfect for tight-space installations in small bore piping systems, especially up to 2 inches in diameter.

03 High Strength & Pressure Rating

Forged construction ensures socket weld flanges can handle medium to high-pressure environments, with enhanced fatigue resistance compared to threaded flanges.

04 Standards Compliant

Manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.5, ANSI, and MSS-SP standards, ensuring dimensional accuracy and international compatibility.

05 Easy Alignment

Socket weld flanges allow precise pipe positioning before welding, simplifying the installation process and ensuring clean internal bore alignment.

06 Industrial Versatility

Widely used in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, power plants, and shipbuilding, these flanges are trusted in critical high-pressure applications.
